This page explains which cookies stroidukshop.co.uk sets, what each is for, and what you can do about them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
The short version
This site does not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, a Meta pixel, or any advertising or session-recording tracker. The cookies set here are the ones needed to run a shop: keeping your basket, keeping you logged in, and keeping the site secure and fast.
That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly, and it is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner on arrival.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because the service you asked for cannot be delivered without them. A basket that forgets its contents is not a shop.

If this changes
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, this page will be updated before they go live and an appropriate consent mechanism will be added at the same time. We are not going to add trackers quietly and describe them here afterwards.
