The honest problem with oral peptides
Peptides are chains of amino acids. The digestive system exists to break exactly those bonds. A peptide swallowed as a capsule is subjected to stomach acid and then to proteases in the small intestine, and most of it is degraded into fragments before it reaches circulation.
This is why injectable administration dominates the category — not because manufacturers prefer needles, but because oral bioavailability for most peptides is very low. Pharmaceutical companies have solved it for specific molecules using absorption enhancers and enteric coatings, and those solutions are molecule-specific and expensive to develop.
So the question worth asking about any oral peptide product is what it actually contains. A “GLP-1 booster” in capsule form is not the same class of thing as injectable semaglutide, and the naming can imply otherwise. Nasal spray is a different case
The Melanotan II nasal spray is on stronger ground. Nasal mucosa is thin and well-supplied with blood, and it bypasses first-pass liver metabolism, so absorption is meaningfully better than swallowing. It is still less efficient and considerably more variable than injection — dose delivered depends on technique, congestion and how much simply runs down the back of the throat.
Practically: nasal delivery is a real route with real absorption, but you should expect less predictable dosing than an injection gives you.
On Accadrine (AC-262)
AC-262 is a SARM, and SARMs are orally active — that is the point of the class. So the capsule format here is appropriate rather than a compromise.
